Email server
Want to print what arrives by email? Save the mailbox on Mail- Server (mail server) once. An email queue then reads it and turns each attachment into a print job. To open the screen, select the gear icon in the top bar, then Erweiterte FunktionenExterne AnbindungenE-Mail Server.

Add a mail server
Section titled “Add a mail server”You need the details your email provider gives you: host name, sign-in, IMAP port and encryption.

Select the + next to Mail- Server. The dialog “Neuen Mailserver anlegen” (create mail server) opens.

Fill in the fields under Zugangsdaten (access details):
- Anzeigename: the name queues show
- Server: the host name
- E-Mail Adresse (email address)
- Benutzername (user name) and Passwort (password).

Leave E-Mail empfangen (receive email) ticked. Email queues need it.

Under IMAP Mailabruf (IMAP retrieval), check the Port and Verschlüsselung (encryption). They start at 993 and SSL/TLS. Tick Nur ungelesene Nachrichten verarbeiten. if comrce cloudprint should skip read email.

Select Testen. Then select Ok to save. comrce cloudprint confirms with “Gespeichert” (saved).
The mailbox now appears in the list, and you can choose it for an email queue.
Example: Your suppliers send delivery notes to druck@example.com. You save the mailbox as “Druck-Postfach” with IMAP on port 993 and SSL/TLS. An email queue reads INBOX and moves printed emails to INBOX/Gedruckt.
Test the connection
Section titled “Test the connection”Testen signs in to the mailbox with the details in the dialog. It checks IMAP when E-Mail empfangen is ticked, and SMTP when E-Mail versenden is. Nothing is saved. A message appears at the bottom of the window for five seconds.

- “Der Test war erfolgreich” (the test was successful): the details work. Select Ok to save.
- “Der Test ist fehlgeschlagen” (the test failed): the reason follows in the mail server’s own words. An example is “Es ist ein IMAP-Fehler aufgetreten” (an IMAP error occurred). “SMTP-Fehler: Zugangsdaten fehlerhaft” means the SMTP sign-in was refused.
Testen stays dimmed until there’s a password and at least one of the two checkboxes is ticked.
Edit or delete a server
Section titled “Edit or delete a server”Edit: select the pencil icon at the end of the row. The dialog opens with the saved details, except the password: Passwort is always empty. Leave it empty to keep the stored password, or type a new one. To test while editing, type the password again.
Delete: select the bin icon at the end of the row. The server is deleted at once, without a question.

E-Mail empfangen is ticked for a new server. It switches on the IMAP Mailabruf section and makes the server available to email queues. E-Mail versenden switches on SMTP Mailversand. No screen of comrce cloudprint currently uses a mail server for sending.
For printing from email, only receiving matters. You can leave sending off.
Nur ungelesene Nachrichten verarbeiten (process unread messages only)
Section titled “Nur ungelesene Nachrichten verarbeiten (process unread messages only)”In the dialog, in IMAP Mailabruf. Dimmed while E-Mail empfangen is off.
When ticked, email queues only fetch emails that are still unread, and comrce cloudprint marks each one as read. When off, every email in the queue’s inbox folder is fetched.
Useful when people also read the mailbox. An email someone already opened and handled isn’t printed.
Passwort (password)
Section titled “Passwort (password)”In the dialog, under Zugangsdaten.
The mailbox password, shown as dots. A saved password is never shown again, so the field is empty when you edit. Empty on saving keeps the stored password.
So the password stays private, even for people who can open this screen.

Can I use a POP3 mailbox?
Section titled “Can I use a POP3 mailbox?”No. comrce cloudprint fetches email over IMAP only. The dialog has no POP3 setting. Ask your email provider for the IMAP host, port and encryption of the mailbox.
What happens to the emails comrce cloudprint prints?
Section titled “What happens to the emails comrce cloudprint prints?”The email queue moves each email to its Ablage nach Verarbeitung folder once the job is created. If no job can be created, it goes to Ablage nach Fehler. Set both folders on Queues.
Connection
Section titled “Connection”Which port and encryption do I enter?
Section titled “Which port and encryption do I enter?”Those your email provider names for IMAP. The dialog starts with port 993 and SSL/TLS. You can also choose StartTLS or keine (none).
Why is the Testen button dimmed?
Section titled “Why is the Testen button dimmed?”Testen needs a password and at least one ticked box: E-Mail empfangen or E-Mail versenden. When you edit a saved server, the password field is empty. Type the password again, then test.
What does “Es ist ein IMAP-Fehler aufgetreten” mean?
Section titled “What does “Es ist ein IMAP-Fehler aufgetreten” mean?”comrce cloudprint couldn’t connect or sign in over IMAP. The text after the colon is the mail server’s own reason, such as “Authentication failed.” Check the user name, the password, the host name, the port and the encryption, then test again.
Does a passed test save the server?
Section titled “Does a passed test save the server?”No. The test only signs in with the details in the dialog. Select Ok afterwards to save. Selecting Abbrechen discards everything you entered.
Queues and deleting

Section titled “Why doesn’t my mail server appear in the queue dialog?”The email queue’s Mail- Server list only shows servers with E-Mail empfangen ticked. Edit the server on Mail- Server, tick the box and save. Then open the queue dialog again.
What happens to my email queues when I delete the server?
Section titled “What happens to my email queues when I delete the server?”They stay on Queues. comrce cloudprint only deletes the server, at once and without asking. Delete the queues yourself if they should stop. When you edit such a queue, choose another mail server.
